Welcome to Off Centre—where every student is welcomed like family, and every parent becomes part of our creative community. From the moment you walk through our doors at 1/72 Argyle Street, you’ll notice our supportive, relaxed, and student-focused atmosphere.

When your child arrives for their very first class, you’ll be greeted by our friendly receptionist who will make sure you both feel comfortable and know exactly where to go. Our teachers pay special attention to new faces, helping every student settle in and ensuring no one is ever left behind.

At Off Centre, we believe in celebrating every step forward. Teachers love giving shout outs in class, and while we do spend time on basic technique, our main focus is on performance, self-expression, and having fun on stage. We’re proudly non-competitive and body positive, welcoming students from every walk of life and nurturing their individuality.

Throughout the year, you’ll find our studio buzzing with excitement during themed weeks, special events, and plenty of surprises that keep things fresh and engaging. Our annual mid year and end of year concerts alongside community performances are highlights for many families, giving every student the chance to shine and build confidence in a supportive setting.

We want parents to feel just as involved and connected as their kids. That’s why we use the BAND app—so you can join your child’s class group, watch videos, follow routines, and stay up-to-date on everything from upcoming performances to rehearsal schedules. Our team is always available by phone, email, or chat if you have questions or need support.

What truly sets Off Centre apart is our community spirit—most of our teachers were once students here themselves. They know first hand what it’s like to be in your child’s shoes, and they’re passionate about helping every student feel seen, valued, and encouraged to put in their best effort.
